We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to manage, schedule, track costs, and oversee single or multiple road construction and paving/milling projects throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling, cost control and tracking, communication and the ability to assist with traffic control when needed. The right candidate should have a background in drainage, grades, layout, figuring pavement tonnages and yields, milling quantities, and trucking. Knowledge in the use of GPS layout and grade control is a benefit but not required.
Requirements: Minimum of three (3) years prior experience in paving, milling and road construction. The ability to work effectively in a high pressure, multi-tasking environment. Manage administrative duties in a timely manner and be able to work independently. Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights. A valid driver’s license. We are seeking qualified individuals to operate a paver/material transfer vehicle in a safe, efficient, and proper manner to achieve a quality-finished product in the paving process. Duties also include working closely with the Paving Foreperson running crews which machine will be utilized including routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine.
Requirements: Previous equipment operator and/or construction industry experience is preferred. Must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public. Truck Driver-CDL
Richmond, VT Truck driver We are seeking a qualified CDL A and CDL B drivers for our paving operations. The candidate should have minimum 2 years prior experience hauling asphalt with flowboy trailers and/or triaxles. CDL A candidate should also have minimum 3 years prior experience moving heavy construction equipment with lowbed trailers. Must be willing to work nights and/or weekends as well as be available to overnights when needed. Driver will be reporting to the Dispatcher. Quality Control Technician
Irasburg, VT We are seeking an experienced individual to oversee activities in QC to comply with our quality assurance plan, Laboratory quality system plan, mix design other relevant QC duties to meet aggregate crushing operation’s, Hot mix asphalt production operations, and construction division. Classification: Year round, Hourly Requirements Ass. Of Science degree (AS) from a two year college or university or preferred five to ten years of QC field experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. NETTCP certified in HMA plant and Paving Technician classification Ability to be involved in HMA mix designs, Understand various department of transportation specifications and percent within limits (PWL) specifications. Ability to write reports, document findings and procedure, and effectively present information and respond to questions from customer and state/federal agencies. Ability to carry out standardized laboratory test in accordance with ASTM and ASSHTO standards. Ability to work closely with DOT material engineers on specifications. Proficient with Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc. and internet based software programs. The ability to work in a fast passed, high stressed TEAM environment. Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary. |
